"ego trap"

Now, there's an interesting term. It's a paradox. I could tell you all about it in person, but on the internet, it's just not possible. A popular way of describing it is a monkey with its hand caught in a jar, grasping a fruit, but that is overly simplistic. One could even say that perhaps it is "the forbidden fruit." To resolve the riddle, one must transcend the words. Even those who have had near-death experiences have not done this, although they've come close. It is not something one can tell a person; it must be experienced. One could say we "fell" into the left hemisphere of our brain.

Knowing is light and light hides what is known. Only in the darkness can you see the stars.

Speaking of reflections, what's interesting is that I'd occasionally encounter a woman who was an empath, and we'd automatically try to adapt to each other through our body language. They'd always look thoroughly confused. The majority of communication is nonverbal, yet we primarily focus on words. What happens when two mirrors face each other? Similar to Narcissus, most people only see their own reflection in others. They cannot see beyond the looking glass, and they cannot truly see themselves. In psychology, it's referred to as projective identification and far more common than they think.
